A Conversation with Martin County Photographer – Steven Martine

Steven Martine Local Treasure Coast Photographer

Posted on: March 14, 2019

There’s no slowing down a person like Steven Martine. With over 20 years of photography work under his belt, the lifestyle photographer lives a multifaceted life full of biking, traveling, spending time with family, and of course, photography. His freelance work for weddings and publications such as National Geographic, have taken him around the world to places such as India, Ecuador, and London. Despite all this, he always finds himself returning to the Treasure Coast. This vibrant and thriving location is full of beauty, from the bright colors of a sunrise to the fluid motions of a sea turtle swimming to shore. It’s the perfect location for a photographer looking for a challenge.

Martine got his start in Oregon when he was kid. Seeking out opportunities for that perfect snapshot and taking photos for the school yearbook, this self-tutoring developed a unique ability to find something beautiful in a completely unexpected place. His affinity for light and motion have led him to capture beauty in the most unexpected places. It’s why he’s been in such a high demand around the world.

South Florida’s wildlife is a complicated, dramatic subject to work with. Those lacking a trained eye will find the area’s gorgeous lakes and winding rivers, but not much else. However, those who sit and wait for the right moment will find themselves in the center of an ecosystem that’s truly alive. This is why Martine works with South Florida. With its wild allure, he can highlight the subject of his works. The result? A snapshot of life, beautifully framed by the nature that surrounds it.

It’s not just photographers that are compelled by South Florida’s nature. Thrill seekers come to find their next adventure on its shores. Socialites visit to experience the area’s fine dining, boutique shopping, and luxury lifestyle. Those looking to relax after years of hard work come and stay to enjoy the solitude given through life by the water. There’s one community in St. Lucie County that can offer it all, no matter why you come here.

If you are thinking about making the move to a waterfront community, one hidden gem that you may want to check out is Rivella, on the Treasure Coast. This gated community by GroundStone Homes rests on the edge of the St. Lucie River where it comes together with the North Fork, offering residents easy access to all of the activities that come along with waterfront living – not to mention some stunning views. Community amenities include a pool and clubhouse, tennis, and walking trails meandering throughout the neighborhood, so residents can connect with nature. Your new home will be ideally located just a short drive to some of the area’s best golf, beaches and entertainment as well as dozens of historic sites, parks and museums where you’ll learn about the area’s rich history. In fact, the beach is a convenient drive via Jensen Beach Blvd to the pristine shores that connect us to the Atlantic Ocean.

Homes at Rivella will range in size from 2 to 6 bedrooms, and all homes will have either a preserve or estuary view. Select home sites are available directly on the river, some with an option for a private dock. Signature series homes start in the mid $300s, and Estate homes are priced from the mid $500s to over $1 million, with custom floor plan options.

Pre-construction purchasers get a free lakefront homesite upgrade for no additional charge prior to our model opening this summer. Limited opportunities are available for this one-of-a-kind offer. The Sales Office is open daily at 114 SE Via Lago, Port St. Lucie. For more information about Rivella visit our website to download our digital brochure highlighting our unique Florida waterfront lifestyle or call (772) 206-2900.
