The Treasure Coast has so much to do, from craft fairs to baseball games to even seafood festivals. All you have to do is decide which event you’ll be attending, if not all of them! It helps to live in a neighborhood that’s close to it all, so that you don’t miss a thing. A place like Rivella should do the trick: it’s near all of these great events, along with some prime beaches and restaurants, while also having its own pocket of solitude and peace, thanks to the surrounding nature. Below are a few of our favorites events that are on the calendar – come check them out!
Jensen Beach Fine Art and Craft Show
The Treasure Coast has always been creative and unique. You can find evidence of this through the works of artists at the Jensen Beach Fine Art and Craft Show held on January 12th and 13th. The event highlights art pieces, sculpture, and other works by local artists, while live music plays in the background and vendors sell local delicacies. Those who have been featured in the past are Twice As Nice and Backstreet Gallery.
45th Annual Stuart Boat Show

Seminars such as the ‘Kids Fishing Clinic’ by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, and ‘Destination: The Bahamas’ by Captain Chris, will be held all weekend. Visitors can also enjoy live music, food and drinks.
Port Salerno Seafood Festival
This small town on the Treasure Coast has had an extensive background in the fishing industry that dates back into the last century. Even today, it’s regarded as having produced some of the freshest local catches in the area. In recognizing this, The Port Salerno Commercial Fishing Dock Authority utilizes the Port Salerno Seafood Festival to celebrate that tradition. Come January 26th, guests will gather along the waterfront to enjoy the freshest fish, music, and entertainment. Local restaurants will serve fresh fish dishes for guests to sample, there’ll bee live music from bands such as Fresh Catch and Blackfoot, and vendors of locally made art and fashion will be selling their pieces.
Citrus Carnival and Music Festival
Jam out to great music for a great cause for one whole weekend at the Citrus Carnival and Music Festival! Located at Causeway Cove Marina in Fort Pierce, the event will run from March 29th to 30th. Families can enjoy the rides, food trucks serving local delicacies, and music in all different genres, including reggae, country, and pop! Best of all, each day of the festival will highlight a different local charity, with the combined proceeds from the event being divided between all of the service organizations!
Mets Spring Training

With season and group tickets on sale now be sure not to miss their first game against the Atlanta Braves on February 23rd.
Free Friday Concert Series
Located at the Port St. Lucie Civic Center, the Free Friday Concert Series generates interest for local musicians, exposes the residents of the area to the arts in their town, and gets everyone outside. Every third Friday of the month, one local band or performer is selected to host a musical event, which audiences can enjoy for free. It’s a great way to spend an evening: imagine ending a date night under the stars while a local band serenades you. Take some time to bring the grandkids so that they can run and dance to the music – it’s a quick way to burn some energy!
Relay For Life 5k
No matter how you feel about exercise, you’ll feel good about getting out and moving for a cause. Get your running sneakers on, get your team together, and get to the Port St. Lucie Civic Center on March 30th for the Relay for Life 5k. Walk, run, or move however you can as you raise awareness and money for cancer research. Not only are you making your health better, you’re making a better world to live in.
